Ok so I know it has been awhile. And i have been informed that i need to update so everyone know what has been going on in my life. Ok i am warning you know that it will be a very long one!!!
First I will start by saying that my life has really had its ups and downs lately and it has been really ard being away from the people that i usually turn to. But this has abled me to work things out on my own and to reach out to others and strengthen my new friendships!!
I enrolled the other day and I am taking 13 hours as of now and I have no class monday except for 5:30-7:55 (Family Relationships and Gender Roles) at night. Tuesday and Thursday I have a 9:30-10:45 (Envormental Geography) 11:30-12:45 (Intro to Sociology) and then 2:30-3:45 (Public Speaking). On wednesday i have a lab for Geography from 9:30-11:20. AND NO CLASSES ON FRIDAYS AGAIN!!! I really liek that!!
My pledge class for my sorority (Alpha Chi Omega) went on sneak. We decided to go to Lincoln, NE when KSU and NU played. We didn't get to go to the game but that was ok beacuse i got to go shopping. And I was stoked for that! I found alot of sales and alot of things i want. I really enjoyed spentign time with my sisters! I am going to uses names so sorry if you do not know who they are! If you come visit me i will make it a point to introduce you to them! Melissa, Nikki, Erin M, Amanda, and I went to this mall which is all outside which was across lincoln none o fus had a car so we asked one of our hists to take us. He sadi ok and he drove us over there. You may ask what the big deal is but we were in a very very small car! so there was six of us in the car Nikki was sitting on my lap in the front. So we are drivign across linclon (which is quite large), on a game day, and we are crammed!!! But it was fun!! THen we went shopping it was ablast and it was fun to wear KSU attire around an Nebraska mall!
While we where on sneak we went to a piercing tatoo place. Amandad went to get a tatoo, Nikki and Erin, carlidge pierced, and I my nose pierced! I even called and told my parents. So we go up the freaky stairs and the guy was at the game so we didn't get ti done. But if he would have been there i would have had my nose pierced so now every one in AXO are trying to convience me to get it done here in Manhattan. But when I was thinking later that night i realized that in all my pics from then on out i would have anose ring, when i got married i would have a noise ring, when i had kids i would have to explainto them why they couldn't have one and i did. And then i realised that if i got it done and then too it our i woud have a scare. So i am glad i didn't get ti done but i still kinda want one so everyone tell me what they think!
Well over that weekend i had a hard time figuring out if i liked being in AXO. Not that the girls aren't nice or that i am not having fun. But because i feel out of place. I feel that i am totally differnet and theat everyone is just trying to get me to drink and to skip class or something like that! And I talked with Amanda and Melissa and they kinda felt the same way! we talked it through and even though it involved lots of tears and secrets and a true heart to heart talk. I realized that i was in AXo for a reason. It might not be easy or fun all the time. I am goingto be a shining light in darkness for my house and a godd example for them to follow and look up to. And that my whole life i will have sisters everywhere that will help me through anything!! which leads me to the next event of the same weekend end!
So we are driving home from lincoln and i get a phone call from one of my roommates which is a little wierd. And she says that someone stole my sign. I was like ok why would someone still my sign and how did they get into my room. I have a stop sign and was really confused. But then she called back and said my x-mas decoration sign i have hanging outside my door. it is so cute!! it is a snowman and it has a sign that says "There's Snow Place Like K-State" I was like ok well i will deal with it when i get home!
So i get home and some Kelsey and Nikki, some fellow AXO's are helping me carry stuff to my room! I open my room and what to i see but A HUGE PINK BLOP on our wall. I was set my stuff down and looked around. My roomate is usually a clean person and very particular about things. So i though that somthing had happened to her so i called her and she didn't answer so i left a message. I around the pink blop and relize that it is dried candle wax! We aren't supposed to have candles, but she had it on a hot plate so it was ok. The was went everywhere!! All over my pictures, all over Hamlet (my fish), my stuff hanging on the wall which was handmade my girls in my house to announce my adoption, my fridge and everything!! I had no clue what was going on so i went and knocked on my RA's door. she didn't answer so i went to a friends room down the hall and asked for her number. I called her and left a message she called me back a few minutes later and she was so mad. WELLL....
Like 30 minutes later Jennifer my roommate comes on while i was taking to Kylie (roomate) and Kylies mom about the weekend and she comes in and laughes! So i guess you saw the candle mess. I said lets talk about it in the other room so we go over there discuss the info. and she yells at me for talking ot Crystal the RA and she thought I was over reacting!! Well for all of you who know me i do yell when i get mad and i am not afriad to do so..but here is the thing I didn't even raise my voice! And so she yelled at me for a while and didn't think it was a big deal because it was on her stuff to. But the thing is she told me three differnt stories right in a row of how it happened and when i asked her about which one was correct she said that it didn't matter. Well anyway the pink blop is still there on the walland all her stuff and i washed mine off asap! and it stained some of my stuff and ruined some others!! Well then she yelled at me agin the next day for the sam ething!! Making my dorm life awful!! So i have been haning out till super late at FH, AXO, Friends dorms, and houses. And so yeah!! She makes me made and she scares me!! I am not joking!!!
Well there is more to this sagua but i am goingot get in line for Thanksgving dinner!!
